About me
I am an assistant professor of the Artificial Intelligence Graduate School (AIGS) and the Department of Computer Science (CS) at UNIST, Korea.
I was a post-doc researcher at the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University (PI: Prof. Martial Hebert and Prof. Jean Oh). I received my M.S. (Robotics program) and Ph.D. (School of Electrical Engineering) degrees at KAIST, Korea. During my graduate study, I worked at the Robotics and Computer Vision (RCV) Lab under the supervision of Prof. In So Kweon and interned at Facebook Reality Labs, Pittsburgh (Summer and Fall, 2017). I received my B.E. degree from Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at University of Seoul (UOS), Korea.
I am a recipient of first place ($2,000,000) in DARPA Robotics Challenge Finals (vision team member of Team KAIST), and KAIST Creativity and Challenge Award from KAIST.
